Shwetha will host the draw alongside O! Millionaire hostess Rachel George during the episode, the former Miss India finalist having primarily acted in Malayalam and Hindi language films in addition to appearing in a number of Kannada, Telugu and Tamil productions, and will also host a meet and greet session, specially curated for dominant media figures and influencers.
Full of praise for O! Millionaire’s plans to create Oasis Park – poised to become the Middle East’s largest green park – the award-winning actress was quoted al mahzooz draw as saying, “I believe the project will generate awareness about environmental issues and reduce the effects on climate change, but most importantly, the initiative underscores O! Millionaire’s commitment to environmental stewardship driven by its core values, all of which will contribute to a sustainable future for everyone.”
Further, Shwetha feels such projects will equip the youth in Oman and other parts of the world in better understanding local and international issues connected to environmental stability, accentuating the sentiment that the project is a prime example of community-based action required to tackle global warming and biodiversity loss.
“The Oasis Park efforts will undoubtedly represent a transformative moment for mother nature, local communities and the hundreds of thousands of people who are expected to visit the park,” Shwetha adds. “I’m also appreciative of the fact that winning the draw can be a life-changing moment for so many people in India, as it comes at a cost of only OMR 2.5.”
A Green Certificate, which participants purchase to support O! Millionaire’s tree-planting program that forms the basis of Oasis Park, entitles them to an entry for a draw boasting prize valued over OMR 5,750,00. The certificate provides participants two chances to win – one through a raffle that pays out one winner OMR 10,000 every week and another through a draw that can bring them prizes valued at more than OMR 5,750,000. The draw is held every Thursday at 8 pm, and should no grand prize winner be selected in a draw, a sum of OMR 50,000 will be added to the prize sum every week.
